ViewSonic’s not killing two birds with one stone. It’s killing three.
The company’s latest LCD TV, the N2201w, is a 22-inch HDTV and DVD combo that also adds PC capabilities.
The set’s DVD player is built-in on the side of the TV, so it’s easy to work and doesn’t take away from the N2201w’s sleek appearance.
There’s a PC input for connecting computer sources, to go with HDMI and other inputs. Resolution is listed at 1680 x 1050, with a slick 5-ms response time.
If you’re looking for an upgrade as the February digital transition nears, the multifunctionality works pretty nicely at the $429 price ViewSonic will be offering the 22-inch LCD N2201w at, too.
