All around the country, sports fans are gearing up for Super Bowl parties. Some people are perfecting onion dip, some are stocking up on Solo cups, and others are adding to their AV setups.

With the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers heading to the big show this Sunday, there’s no doubt that fans in those areas are frothing a little extra. After all, there’s just something about cheering on the home team that makes home theater owners want to tweak.

According to the shopping app and website BuyVia, customers are currently on the hunt for bigger TVs. “When it comes to pre-Super Bowl purchases, clearly bigger is better,” said Norman Fong, CEO and co-founder of BuyVia.

Mark Recene echoes that statement. He’s the chief innovation officer and VP of sales at HS Technology Group, which is located right on the edge of Ravens territory, in Pikesville, Maryland. “Customers that just installed a 55-inch LED now want something larger.”

How can you make the Super Bowl even more super? Let’s take a peek at some of the requests that sports fans are seeking out from local installers in the areas of Baltimore and San Francisco. Check out our slideshow to see What Home Theater Fans are Buying in Baltimore and San Francisco.
