Security

While Wink doesn’t offer a complete security complement just yet, there are several options to get users started. The KiddeBattery Smoke/Carbon Monoxide is the only one that needs the Wink Hub. That way, when an alarm goes off, you can get alerts on your smartphone, tablet or PC.  The remaining two options don’t need the Hub. The Quirky Spotter is a sensor that can monitor motion, sound, light, temperature, humidity, the washer/dryer and much more. Anything you want to keep tabs on can be tracked in that app. If you need a better peek, the Dropcam Pro can provide two-way talk, alerts and live 720p video of any room day or night. It even has the option for cloud recording, which will store images and video for up to 30 days for $29.95 per month or $299 per year. [Pictured: Quirky Wink Spotter Sensor.]

Pricing: $49.97 to $199.99
