SlySoft actually makes two versions of this software. The original AnyDVD is for ripping and copying DVDs, while AnyDVD HD adds in Blu-ray and HD DVD support. Makes sense, right? What makes even more sense is that the company says that this software can make your purchased media playable anywhere. It even disables features like BD-Live, for added privacy protection. Just know that even though you don’t need a Blu-ray or HD DVD drive to enjoy content, you’re going to need one to rip it.
