Thanks to built-in decryption algorithms, this software can bust through just about any DVD and make a backup copy for your hard drive. It even allows users to set the compression level. Older versions of DVDShrink won’t allow you to burn copies, but AfterDawn says that’s since been added. A huge bonus is that the website also has a very active community, if you have questions, problems, or just want to vent.
