Chinatown

Don’t forget this one, Jake. Jack Nicholson stars as the one and only Jake Gittes, a private eye hired to follow a philandering husband—or so he thinks. It’s a classic, making this a good pick for the week. Also make sure to look for director Roman Polanski as the guy does a little damage to Jake’s face.

Despite its age, Chinatown looks great in this new release. Expect a 2.35:1 aspect ratio and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio. There’s also a decent collection of special features, including a commentary that has writer Robert Towne sitting down with The Social Network director David Fincher.
