Water Montoring

All kinds of water flow sensors are available if you want to measure the amount of water you’re using in a particular area of your home, and some high-end energy monitoring systems like those from Agilewaves and Lucid Design Group (shown) can monitor your water flow, though these systems cost thousands and are geared toward commercial and institutional environments. Water leak sensors can also help you save water by detecting leaks before you waste too much water and damage your property. Some like those from Winland, can connect to security and home automation systems. You can also get automatic shut-off devices for hot water tanks and clothes washers when a leak is detected.
