LG’s brand new Android-based Viper phone ($99), launching on Earth Day, is made of 50 percent recycled plastics and can run at 4G LTE speeds on the Sprint Network. A 1.2GHz dual core processor and dual cameras allow video chats and quick switching between apps and HD gaming on a super-fast web browser. It supports NFC (Near Field Communications) and Google Wallet for transactions at participating merchants. It also boasts UL Environment (ULE) Platinum Certification, the highest level of environmental performance of a device that is recognized by Sprint and ULE. The charger has a no-load consumption rating of just .03 watts.
