Lutron Maestro Occupancy Sensing Switch

Got a room where the light stays on … and on … and on? Lutron offers the Maestro Occupancy Sensing Switch, which automatically shuts off the light when no one is in the room. It’s sensor can detect motion as a small as a book page being turned, and it measures the ambient light in a room so if there’s enough light, the light won’t turn on, says Lutron’s Melissa Andresko. The Sensors are priced at $29 and $41 for small and large rooms, respectively, and are available now at home improvement centers, lighting showrooms, electrical distributors and online.
