Joyful Noise

Someone in Hollywood thought Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah would make a good movie—together. Critics didn’t seem to agree. The two singing divas star as choir members that don’t seem to follow that whole “do unto others” thing. The end result doesn’t really matter. The film recouped its $25 million budget and cranked out a bunch of enjoyable songs.

Thankfully, this release has a DTS-HD Master Audio audio track to belt out those tunes.  Other features include a 2.40:1 aspect ratio and a hearty collection of extras. Expect the latter to focus mostly on the two leads and the music. However, this 2-disc set also includes a standard-def DVD and an UltraViolet Digital Copy.
