Clueless

Writer/director Amy Heckerling went back to school for this comedy, which is loosely based on the story of Emma. Whether or not you can appreciate the one-liners, this is the film that launched the careers of Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison and Jeremy Sisto. Think there’s no way to make this ‘90s staple a little better? As if!

The 1.78:1 image is actually pretty stellar for a comedy that’s 17 years old. Also expect a DTS-HD Master Audio audio track and a few dated special features. The lone new extra is an on-screen trivia track. Maybe they are saving everything else for the reunion edition?

Rating: PG-13
Runtime: 97 minutes
