Take another bite out of the popular HBO series with this collection from the fourth season. It was a steamy one, too, with Sookie (Anna Paquin) involved in a pretty powerful love triangle, Tara (Rutina Wesley) hitting the road, and at least one a were-panther hanging around. It’s hard to sum up this drama’s many characters. However, True Blood is not the type of show where you can start up in the fourth season.
It will be fans wanting this set, which includes a total of 7 discs, a 1.78:1 image and a fun, detailed DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. There are also plenty of extras, including commentaries. behind-the-scenes peeks and other production tidbits for each episode. Also know that only five of the seven discs are Blu-ray. HBO has been kind enough to include an extra two standard-def DVDs, which features all 12 episodes.
