We Need to Talk About Kevin

Viewers will have to be mood to talk about Kevin—or even watch him. That said, you’re going to want to sit yourself down for this one at some point. Tilda Swinton gives a riveting performance as the mother of a mass-murderer, trying to cope with her son’s actions and her daily life, all while presenting his story in a series of flashbacks.

Look for a 2.35:1 aspect ratio on this release and a surprisingly great DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. There’s also a decent amount of extras, including a behind-the-scenes featurette, a piece singling out Swinton, and a short (too short!) sit-down with Lionel Shriver, the author that inspired this film.
