DAC For Father's Day
This might be one of those “I didn’t know I needed it until I tried it” products, but if you’ve got a dad who loves his digital music, he probably doesn’t know how much better his iTunes collection can sound. The DACs (Digital Audio Converter) on most PC sound cards, or even on most mainstream AVRs don’t resolve the full potential of digital music—especially if you rip or download higher resolution files. Place a quality DAC in the data stream and suddenly the music will become more nuanced and dynamic—perfect for jamming or relaxing on a particular June Sunday afternoon.
