Wilfred: The Complete First Season

This is the second FX series to get a Blu-ray release this week. This one isn’t as uncomfortable as Louie—well, depending on whether or not talking dogs make you uncomfortable. This freshman series focuses Ryan (Elijah Wood) and his relationship with the neighbor’s dog, Wilfred. It just so happens that Wilfred looks a lot like a guy (Jason Gann) wearing a dog suit.

Fox has included the original 1.78:1 broadcast aspect ratio and a DTS-HD Master Audio track on this 2-disc set. Other features include deleted scenes, the “Mary Jane Mash-up” featurette, something titled “Wilfred & Bear: A Love Affair,” and a Fox Movie Channel short on star Jason Gann.

Rating: NR
Runtime: 286 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 2
Studio: Fox
