OLED Etc

Currently, there are two primary choices in flat-panel display technology—LCD (including LED-based) and plasma. This year those TVs will be competing with Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) TVs. OLED TVs don’t require a backlight, so they’re extremely thin (literally pencil thin), bright and display vibrant colors without motion blur. Sony is working on a similar technology called crystal LED.
