The Big Bang Theory

Bazinga! After releasing seasons three and four on Blu-ray, Warner Bros. is making up for lost time (or resolution), by putting the first two seasons of this popular hit on the high-def format. The show focuses on roomies/geeks Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and their new neighbor, the very pretty, very blonde Penny (Kaley Cuoco).

Both season sets have an aspect ratio of 1.78:1, a DTS-HD Master Audio track, and an UltraViolet Digital Copy. Season one has a total of two Blu-ray discs and three DVDs, with season two adding in an extra standard-def disc. Extras are pretty skimpy on both, though. Season one has just one quickie featurette and a gag reel, with season two adding in an extra featurette.

Rating: NR
Runtime: 355 minutes (season one), 481 minutes (season two)
Total Number of Discs: 5 (season one), 6 (season two)
Studio: Warner Bros.
