Lockout

If you want to test your AV and your patience, this is one to pick up. The usually entertaining Guy Pearce stars in this not-so-entertaining action flick. He’s a guy wrongly accused (go figure!) of conspiracy to commit espionage. All will be forgiven, however, if he can rescue the president’s daughter (Maggie Grace) from an outer space prison.

If you can get past the ridiculous plot, you may want to check out this ridiculous Blu-ray—and we mean that in a loving way. The 2.39:1 is stellar, with a rapid fire DTS-HD Master Audio track to match. The single-disc release also comes with two short featurettes about the movie and an UltraViolet Digital Copy.

Rating: PG-13
Runtime: 95 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 1
Studio: Sony
