It’s hard to believe that some studios still don’t release certain titles on Blu-ray—or at least these titles. We wanted to give a special shout-out to two new releases, which are only available on standard-def DVD.
First up is Leverage: The 4th Season. Oscar winner Timothy Hutton returns as Nate Ford, the leader of a crack team of con artists looking to fight injustices for others. The 4-disc set includes all 18 episodes from the season, Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, audio commentaries, deleted scenes, bloopers, and a few featurettes.
Also check out Eureka: Season 5. Well, if you haven’t seen the Syfy favorite, you may want to backtrack, since this was the show’s final season. Otherwise, get ready to explore the small town with big secrets one more time, with this 3-disc set. Besides the episodes and a Dolby Digital 5.1 track, this set has a few featurettes, a nice farewell short, deleted and extended scenes, and more. Of course, the gem is the bonus holiday episode titled, “Do You See What I See?”
