Dexter: The Sixth Season

The story of everyone’s favorite serial killer picks up with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) trying to juggle his job, fatherhood, and his demons. It’s not exactly easy, either, since this season has Dexter and the crew focused on the Doomsday Killers, a creepy, unpredictable pairing of Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks.

If you’re at all interested in this one, you’ve probably seen it on Showtime—not like this, of course. The 1.78:1 aspect ratio is sharp and the Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track provides plenty of heebie-jeebies. The 3-disc set’s only extra is BD-Live functionality, which hooks you up with cast interviews and select episodes of Showtime’s Borgias, Californication and House of Lies.
