It’s hard to believe that some studios still don’t release certain titles on Blu-ray—or at least this title. We wanted to give a special shout-out to Parks and Recreation, since it’s one of those shows that you should be watching. From the ratings, it doesn’t seem like enough of you are.
This week, we get Parks and Recreation: Season Four. This hilarious season found Leslie Knope (Amy Poheler) seeking Pawnee’s city council seat. The only thing in her way is opponent and uber-rich boy Bobby Newport (played by recurring guest star Paul Rudd). The season was filled with wonderful cameos, but this show has an incredibly funny cast, including Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe, Nick Offerman, Jim O’Heir, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Retta, and Adam Scott. If you haven’t seen the show, it’s currently streaming on Netflix. Otherwise, fans will know that this is one to pick up.
The 4-disc set also has plenty of extras, including deleted, extended, and alternate scenes, as well as webisodes, a music video, campaign ads, a gag reel, “The Swanson Zone,” and much more.
