Digital Projection

Digital Projection Inc. brought two main messages to CEDIA this year—and the first is that LED projectors can be really good. The company was able to tweak its LED line to allow them to deliver higher luminance, with some models exceeding 1,000 lumens. The LED offerings, all DLP projectors, are found in DPI’s M-Vision and dVision series and range between $12,995 and $39,995.

Also unveiled was the new HIGHlite Cine 330-3D 3-chip DLP projector, which comes in two versions. One is designed for high contrast and delivers 2,500 lumens with greater than a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The second is focused on brighter rooms, delivering 4,500 lumens.  Either version will be available for under $30,000 with lens included (both fixed or zoom lens options available).
