Resident Evil: Damnation

Apparently, there’s been another entry in the Resident Evil franchise. However, this one doesn’t have a slinky Milla Jovovich prancing through and kicking butt. Instead, it’s a computer-animated 3D film that was put together by the gamers at Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan. So in other words, it’s like watching someone else play video games for 100 minutes.

Expect to see some CGI carnage via a 1.78:1 image, with a matching DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. As far as the extras go, this single-disc release includes multiple game trailers, a making-of short and one additional featurette, a gag reel, and an UltraViolet Digital Copy.

Rating: PG-13
Runtime: 101 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 1
Studio: Sony
