Cinderella: Diamond Edition

Disney is giving one of its prettiest princesses a complete makeover. This classic has been restored for one of Disney’s gorgeous Diamond Edition releases. In case you don’t know this classic tale, it focuses around Cinderella, who lives a horrible existence slaving away for her wicked stepmother and equally ugly stepsisters. Soon, however, her world is turned upside down (in a good way), thanks to a little ball and a very cool Fairy Godmother.

You probably know the story, but we can guarantee that you’ve never seen it like this before. Disney released two versions of this Blu-ray. One has the Blu-ray and DVD, with the other set adding in a Digital Copy. Both have the same gorgeous 1.33:1 image and the same DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track. Each set also has the same special features, which includes deleted scenes and songs, multiple featurettes, storyboards, trailers and TV spots and much more. The two most interesting tidbits include the “Personalized Digital Storybook: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-You” on-screen storybook and the “Tangled Ever After” short, which first aired theatrically before Beauty and the Beast 3D.

Rating: G
Runtime: 912 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 2 or 3 (depending on version)
Studio: Disney
