Shut Up And Play The Hits

After six years and three studio albums, the members of LCD Soundsystem decided to pull the plug on the band in 2011. However, they weren’t going out with a whimper. Instead, they decided to put on a show at Madison Square Garden, capture it on film, and release it at the Sundance Film Festival. Despite accolades, the film was only shown for one night in U.S. theaters back in July.

Now you can put it on a loop, if you choose—and in high-def with this 3-disc release. The first disc has the film with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, interviews, outtakes and a featurette about former manager Keith Wood. The two remaining discs have the entire concert that the film was based on, with the band performing for 3.5 hours at Madison Square Garden on April 2, 2011.

Rating: NR
Runtime: 290 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 3
Studio: Oscilloscope Laboratories
