The Campaign

In case you haven’t had enough of election coverage (really?), Warner Bros. is squeezing out this Blu-ray right before the big day. And even if you’re up to your eyeballs in political satire (some of it unintentional), the critically acclaimed comedy can still be a nice diversion. Will Ferrell plays disgraced North Carolina congressman who tries to win back the hearts of his constituents, all while the naïve Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) starts vying for the same seat.

This 2-disc set includes an extended version of the movie, a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track, a standard-def DVD and an UltraViolet Digital Copy of the movie. The rest of the extras try to squeeze out a few extras laughs, via deleted scenes, a gag reel, and Ferrell and Galifianakis riffing for the “Line-O-Rama” featurette.

Rating: R
Runtime: 85 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 2
Studio: Warner Bros.
