Pitch Perfect

It’s like Glee, but on the college level—and a lot more entertaining, too. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp head up an all-girl group looking to redeem themselves in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella after the previous year’s “puking” incident. If you like singing with your comedy, this is the movie for you.

Besides the songs, this release also has a very nice 2-disc set, with a 1.85:1 image, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track, a standard-def DVD, a Digital Copy and an UltraViolet Digital Copy. If you wish that the movie was just a teeny bit longer, you’ll appreciate the extras, which includes multiple deleted and extended scenes. For something a bit more technical, there are also two commentary tracks.

Rating: PG-13
