If you’ve ever endured TBS’ annual A Christmas Story marathon, you may be wanting to shoot your eye out. That said, this perennial favorite from Porky‘s director Bob Clark has made Ralphie, the Bumpuses’ dogs and that leg lamp part of holiday tradition.

The Blu-ray’s 1.85:1 image and Dolby Digital 1.0 Mono track doesn’t add a whole lot of sparkle over the DVD release. However, the single-disc package does have fairly recent interviews with its stars and a commentary track, which includes the late Clark and the film’s star, Peter Billingsley.
