Timers at Home Depot

We would love to be able to treat someone to home automation for the holidays. Of course, something as simple as a lamp timer isn’t rocket science; it’s more like a stocking stuffer. Still, we have to scoff at the lump of coal Home Depot will be offering its shoppers. The store is advertising an Intermatic timer (sku: 280747) with a spike and six outlets. Although it would be great for your ever-growing outdoor Christmas display, the sale price is $21.67—$1.70 more than it’s selling for now  on the Home Depot website. They have a similar deal going with a simple Intermatic lamp timer (sku: 376272). The unit is being advertised for $5.95. However, a quick search of Home Depot’s site  saw the unit now for $4.98. Granted, it’s not highway robbery; however, we wouldn’t put them on the “Nice” list, either.

Home Depot’s Black Friday Price: $5.95 (376272), $21.67 (280747)
Today at Home Depot: $4.98 and $19.97, respectively
