4th, 5th Generation iPod

The fourth generation iPod was released in July 2004 with either a 20 or 40GB hard drive. It also marked the first model with USB connectors and a 12-hour battery life.

The fifth generation iPod was released in Sept. 2005 in 30 and 60GB models. Apple re-released it a year later with 80GB of hard drive space for up to six hours of video playback.
